Will Boyle / Free / Cheltenham
The left-footed defender returns to Huddersfield having played a key role in Cheltenham's rise up the Football League. Boyle is strong in the air and will be a weapon at set pieces. 3/5.
Connor Mahoney / Free / Millwall
Connor Mahoney arrives with a reputation as a playmaker but struggled to fulfil that role at Millwall, and his record of seven goals from 140 senior appearances is a concern. 2/5.
David Kasumu / Undisclosed / MK Dons
Energetic central midfielder who has signed from MK Dons and has the scope to improve. 3/5.
Kyle Hudlin / Undisclosed / Solihull Moors
6’ 9” striker who scored 16 goals for Solihull Moors last season. Hudlin's a very raw prospect and the Terriers made a smart choice by sending him straight out on loan to Wimbledon to gain more experience. 2/5
Jack Rudoni / Undisclosed / AFC Wimbledon
The attacking midfielder hit double figures for both goals and assists in a bad Wimbledon side last season and the Terriers believe he can make the step up to replace Lewis O'Brien, should he leave. 3/5
Yuta Nakayama / Free / PEC Zwolle
A solid performer over the last three-and-a-half years in the Netherlands, the Japan international looks a good edition to the squad on paper with the defender's strong aerial skills and reading of the game standout traits. 4/5

The aerially dominant Will Boyle was Cheltenham's highest-scoring defender in the EFL and adds another weapon to a Huddersfield team that scored more goals from set pieces, excluding penalties, than any other side in 2021/22.
Goalkeeper Lee Nicholls finished joint-second in the Championship's Golden Glove standings last season with 18 clean sheets, two behind winner Mark Travers of Bournemouth.
Huddersfield's third-place finish in the 2021/22 campaign saw them massively outperform pre-season expectations and was only their second top-half finish in the Terriers' last eight Championship campaigns.
Sorba Thomas was key to Huddersfield's promotion push, registering 12 assists - the highest number of assists by a Terriers player in the last 13 years.
The Terriers have lost some key components from last season, including Harry Toffolo and Lewis O'Brien, who had 20 goals involvements between them in 2021/22
Huddersfield performed above expectations to finish third last term and were left ultimately disappointed after a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest in the playoff final. Their accomplishments were a credit to Carlos Corberan, who worked with a modest budget, but he has since departed the club and it may be tough to match those efforts. The Terriers won a lot of tight games last term and a slight drop off can be expected.
