Joao Palhinha / £17m / Sporting Lisbon
Marco Silva went in to the summer determined to add Portuguese pivot Palhinha to his squad and has got his way, bringing in a defensive midfielder that reads the game well and is unlikely to shy away from a battle. 3/5
Andreas Pereira / £10m / Manchester United
The Brazilian midfielder shone during a loan spell at Flamengo last season but his underlying stats suggest he overperformed in his home country. Fulham look to have overpaid for a player that's yet to prove he can cut it at Premier League level. 1/5
Manor Solomon / Loan / Shakhtar Donetsk
Fulham hope the Israel international is worth the wait after a protracted chase. The wide man is most dangerous when running at defenders, while he also has an eye for goal and if he can pack on some muscle he should hold his own in games. 3/5
Kevin Mbabu / £6.4m / Wolfsburg
The Swiss centre-back didn't make the grade at Newcastle previously but has improved since leaving Tyneside in 2017, proving himself at Wolfsburg. However, whether the tough-tackling, pacey defender is good enough to improve Fulham's defence is questionable. 2/5
Bernd Leno / £8m / Arsenal
On the surface, Fulham have got themselves a bargain, upgrading their goalkeeping position with a Germany international for a reasonable price. However, while Leno is a great shot stopper, he's prone to errors and lacks command of his area. 3/5
Shane Duffy / Loan / Brighton
A centre-back with Premier League and international experience who offers something different from their alternatives. Not an eye-catching signing however and doesn't improve the first 11 massively. 2/5

Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a record-breaking 43 goals in 44 Championship games last term but his last two Premier League campaigns for Fulham yielded just 14 goals in 64 appearances.
No team collected more points at home than Fulham last season but history suggests they may struggle to repeat those exploits having finished with the worst home record in the Premier League in two of their last three top-flight campaigns.
Fulham failed to score in only four league games last season but Fabio Carvalho's exit may diminish their attacking returns.
Fulham's record against the division's elite needs work with the Cottagers taking a combined eight points off the 'Big Six' in their last three top-flight seasons.
Marco Silva had very few issues guiding Fulham to a third promotion in five years and this could be the best version of the Cottagers the Premier League has seen in that time. Aleksandar Mitrovic look ready to improve on his record at this level after a record-breaking 2021/22 season and although the defence remains an area of concern, they could have just enough to avoid another relegation.
